Position Overview:
As a Senior HR Business Partner, you will play a critical role in driving the human resources function to support the growth and success of the Research business unit. This role is specifically tailored for an individual with significant experience in the Oil & Gas sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic HR Leadership:
- Partner with senior leadership to align HR strategies with business objectives.
- Develop and implement HR strategies that support the growth and innovation goals of the technology business.
Talent Acquisition and Management:
- Lead the recruitment efforts for key technology roles, ensuring a pipeline of top talent.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and implement effective talent management strategies.
Employee Relations:
- Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and management, providing guidance on employee relations matters.
- Address and resolve complex employee relations issues in a timely and effective manner.
Organisational Development:
- Drive initiatives to enhance organisational effectiveness, employee engagement, and talent development.
- Implement programs to foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture within the technology business unit.
Performance Management:
- Oversee the performance management process, ensuring alignment with business goals and individual development plans.
- Provide coaching and support to managers on performance-related matters.
Key Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an HR Business Partner.
- Experience in oil and gas is highly desirable.
- In-depth knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and trends in the technology industry.
- Strong business acumen and the ability to understand and contribute to business strategy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels.
- Demonstrated experience in talent acquisition, employee relations, and organisational development.
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
This is an excellent role, and will pay from £100,000 + bonus. The company is hybrid working and will require three days a week in a central London office.
