People Systems Specialist (12-Month Fixed-Term Contract)

About the Role
We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented People Systems Specialist to join our global HR Technology team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with Workday experience who enjoys problem-solving, improving processes, and supporting a broad HR community.
In this role, you’ll work hands-on with Workday, providing first-line systems support, contributing to configuration enhancements-particularly within Recruitment-and helping ensure our people systems run smoothly. You’ll work closely with HR colleagues, recruiting teams, and internal IT partners across multiple regions.
Key Responsibilities

Serve as first-line support for Workday queries, managing the Workday specialist queue in ServiceNow and escalating to functional leads when necessary.

Support configuration and maintenance across active Workday modules, with a focus on recruiting enhancements.

Produce and maintain system training materials and user guidance.

Identify opportunities to streamline processes and enhance system usability.

Work closely with internal IT teams to ensure changes consider downstream system impacts.

Participate in Workday bi-annual releases, including regression testing, feature exploration, and stakeholder communication.

Provide testing support for wider people systems projects within the team.
Skills, Experience & Qualifications

At least one year of hands-on Workday experience, with strong knowledge of Core HCM and Recruitment modules.

Experience in any of the following areas is a plus: Compensation, Talent & Performance, Absence, Time Tracking, Payroll, Benefits.

Strong organisational skills and experience working with incident management tools.

Competency in the Microsoft Office suite.
