Annapurna is partnering with a leading international technology consulting and talent solutions business to appoint a Senior HR Operations Specialist based in Copenhagen.
This is a key role within the People function, responsible for leading HR operations across the Nordic region (Denmark, Sweden and Norway). Reporting to the senior People leadership team, you’ll own the employee lifecycle, oversee external payroll providers, ensure compliance across multiple jurisdictions, and drive continuous improvement across HR processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and optimise the end-to-end employee lifecycle, including onboarding, contract management, employee changes and offboarding.
- Ensure HR policies, processes and documentation are up to date, compliant and scalable.
- Maintain HR data integrity, produce people reporting and provide insights to support business decisions.
- Act as a trusted advisor on HR operations and employment law across the Nordic region.
- Manage relationships with external payroll providers, ensuring accurate, compliant and timely payroll delivery.
- Monitor payroll quality, resolve issues and stay ahead of legislative changes across Denmark, Sweden and Norway.
- Partner with People leaders on HR projects, process improvements, systems and organisational initiatives.
- Support managers and employees with HR operational queries and guidance.
About You
- 8-10+ years’ experience in HR Operations, People Operations or a similar role within an international or fast-paced environment.
- Experience managing external payroll providers, ideally across the Nordics.
- Strong knowledge of employment law and HR compliance in Denmark, with exposure to Sweden and/or Norway being advantageous.
- Proven experience improving HR processes and driving operational excellence.
- Comfortable working with HR systems, data and reporting.
- Fluent in both Danish and English.
