Senior Full Stack Engineer – Financial Services

We’re working with our client, an innovative, AI-native financial services firm, to find a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our client’s team. In this role you’ll be part of a remote-first product engineering squad, owning solutions end-to-end – from idea to production – and building the intelligent workflows and AI-enabled web applications that power our client’s risk exchange platform used across multiple countries and specialty insurance products.

Key Skills and What You’ll Use Them For

  • Software engineering fundamentals & judgement – Apply strong core engineering principles to design, build and ship reliable, secure, production-ready systems.
  • Modern web application development – Build and scale customer-facing web applications, services and APIs that sit at the heart of our client’s platform.
  • TypeScript & Node.js – Develop robust backend and full stack solutions, leveraging TypeScript’s type safety and Node.js for scalable services.
  • Lit / Web Components – Create modern, reusable UI components to deliver high-quality, responsive user experiences.
  • PostgreSQL & Redis – Design and optimise data flows and storage, using relational data models and in-memory caching to improve performance.
  • Snowflake & AWS – Work across a modern cloud and data stack to support intelligent, data-driven product capabilities.
  • AI-assisted development – Use AI tools across discovery, implementation, testing, debugging and operations to accelerate delivery and enhance quality.
  • Problem solving & ownership – Turn unclear problems into working software, take responsibility for outcomes, and continually iterate based on real user feedback.
  • Collaboration & communication – Operate effectively within cross-functional squads, influencing technical decisions and improving how software is built.

If you’re excited by building intelligent, AI-enabled products in a fast-moving environment, we’d be delighted to discuss this opportunity with you.
