About the role:
This role focuses on designing and implementing secure cloud architectures to optimize digital infrastructure in industries such as utilities and manufacturing. The innovative software products can be deployed on-premises or in various public cloud environments.
Your tasks:
- Design and implement secure architectures for public cloud-based systems, services, and applications (e.g., GCP, AWS, Azure).
- Ensure cloud resources comply with company policies and security requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security throughout the development lifecycle.
- Develop and maintain cloud security policies, procedures, and standards.
- Secure scalable landing zone setups in public cloud environments.
- Monitor and analyze cloud resources for potential security threats, identifying areas for improvement.
- Lead the design, evaluation, implementation, and deployment of new security technologies related to cloud security.
- Conduct security threat and risk assessments to ensure the safety of cloud infrastructure and applications.
- Communicate technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including senior leadership and customers.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud security trends, technologies, and best practices.
Your profile:
- In-depth knowledge of public cloud services (e.g., compute, storage, database services across GCP, AWS, Azure).
- Expertise in cloud security technologies such as Identity and Access Management (IAM), cloud logging, monitoring, and API security.
- Advanced experience with Infrastructure as Code tools, e.g., Terraform.
- Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, routing, firewalls).
- Familiarity with containerization platforms (e.g., Kubernetes) and serverless computing.
- Experience with cloud-based DevOps tools (e.g., GitLab CI, Jenkins, Docker).
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Enthusiasm for information security and a passion for continuous learning.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, clear and concise.
- Proactive attitude and ability to collaborate effectively within agile teams.
Nice to have:
- Relevant cloud certifications such as Professional Cloud Security Engineer, AWS Certified Security – Speciality, or equivalent.
