HR Business Partner

Permanent

£60000 - £70000 per annum

London

A highly respected global professional services organisation is looking to appoint an experienced HR Business Partner to work closely with senior leaders across a key area of the business.

This is a broad, hands-on partnering role requiring someone who can combine strong commercial judgement with excellent UK employment law and employee relations expertise. You will work with established senior stakeholders, helping them navigate people issues, organisational change, performance and workforce decisions in a complex, highly professional environment.

The role will suit someone who is comfortable being visible in the business, building credibility quickly and constructively challenging leaders when required. It is not a purely strategic or project-led position. You will need to be equally comfortable advising on a difficult employee matter, coaching a senior manager, supporting organisational change or thinking more broadly about capability and workforce requirements.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Partnering senior leaders on people, organisational and workforce priorities
  • Providing clear, pragmatic advice on complex and sensitive employee relations matters
  • Leading cases involving performance, grievances, restructures, redundancies and other formal processes
  • Coaching and challenging managers to improve people management and decision-making
  • Supporting organisational change and ensuring people risks are properly understood and managed
  • Contributing to workforce planning, talent and recruitment decisions
  • Using people data and insight to inform recommendations
  • Helping improve HR practices, policies and ways of working across the organisation

We are looking for an experienced HR Business Partner, People Partner or HR Manager with strong grounding in UK employment law and demonstrable experience handling complex ER personally.

You will need to be a clear, polished and credible communicator who can form trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, communicate with authority and know when to challenge and when to take a more measured approach.

The strongest candidates are likely to have broad generalist experience across employee relations, performance, organisational change, talent, reward and workforce planning, with the confidence to operate strategically while remaining close to the detail.

This is an opportunity to join a globally recognised organisation in a role offering genuine breadth, senior-level exposure and the chance to have a visible impact on how the business manages and develops its people. Incredible offices, operating 3 days a week on site.
