Engineering Manager
We are partnering with our client, a fast-growing technology company transforming their industry with an AI-powered digital platform. They are seeking a hands-on Engineering Manager to lead a team of full stack and AI/ML engineers while remaining deeply involved in coding, architecture, and delivery. You will work closely with product and engineering leadership, set the technical bar, and help shape a calm, collaborative, and high-performance engineering culture.
Key Skills and What You’ll Do
- Full Stack Engineering (TypeScript, Node.js, React) – Contribute daily across the stack, from database to browser, designing features, reviewing pull requests, and solving complex technical challenges.
- Technical Leadership – Lead full stack and AI/ML engineers through coaching, 1:1s, growth plans, and hiring, while owning delivery quality and roadmap execution with your Product Manager.
- Architecture & Best Practices – Shape architecture, raise standards via code reviews, and drive adoption of AI-assisted engineering workflows and robust engineering practices.
- Agile & DevOps Mindset – Work within trunk-based development, daily releases, Cypress E2E testing, strict typing/linting/formatting, and CI/CD pipelines deploying to AWS via Kubernetes and Terraform.
- People Development – Build a healthy, high-performing team through honest feedback, mentoring, and a culture where the best idea wins.
- AI/ML Collaboration – Partner with AI/ML engineers and contribute to LLM-based application initiatives where relevant.
- Clear Communication (English) – Explain complex technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
