An exciting opportunity to work on large-scale video delivery infrastructure used by a significant global audience. You’ll be working on technically challenging distributed systems where performance, scalability and reliability are critical, with modern C++ at the core.
This is a hands-on engineering role with genuine ownership across development, optimisation and production systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain high-performance C++ systems
- Build and optimise distributed CDN/edge infrastructure
- Troubleshoot complex production and performance issues
- Work with data pipelines and backend services
- Collaborate with SRE and infrastructure teams
- Contribute to technical design and mentor other engineers
- Use AI tooling and workflows to improve development efficiency
Requirements
- Strong modern C++ experience
- Background in high-load, distributed Linux/Unix systems
- Commercial experience with CDNs or large-scale content delivery
- Strong production troubleshooting and performance optimisation skills
