We are seeking a talented and experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team in Berlin. As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the development, deployment, and maintenance of our e-commerce platform. Your primary responsibilities will include implementing and managing infrastructure as code, optimising our CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring the reliability and scalability of our systems.
Responsibilities..
- Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure using Kubernetes and Terraform to support our ecommerce platform.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to automate deployment processes, streamline operations, and improve overall efficiency.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to facilitate continuous integration, testing, and deployment of applications.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to ensure high availability and reliability.
- Implement security best practices and compliance standards to safeguard our infrastructure and data.
- Participate in capacity planning, performance tuning, and scalability testing to support business growth.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend innovative solutions and improvements.
Qualifications..
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience working as a DevOps Engineer or similar role in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong proficiency in Kubernetes and Terraform for managing containerized applications and infrastructure as code.
- Solid understanding of CI/CD concepts and experience with tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Shell, or Bash.
- Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or similar.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues in production environments.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience working in an ecommerce or retail environment is a plus.
