Working across both the Houseful and RVU businesses, the HRIS Manager will be responsible as the owner of the Workday system, working within the two People teams. The HRIS Manager should navigate the business priorities and needs of each of the different businesses, working with key stakeholders to ensure Workday is fit for purpose and adding value to the business. The HRIS Manager will be responsible for the relationship with Workday, alongside the People Operations Leaders, and for introducing new ideas and functionalities to ensure that the Group is making the most of the investment in the Workday system.
Key responsibilities (this list is not exhaustive)
- Act as the owner of the Workday system, overseeing business process configuration and changes, reporting and thorough testing;
- Provide support and guidance for troubleshooting configuration and reporting issues;
- Identify new opportunities and solutions to enhance functionality or improve current business processes, automation and efficiencies;
- Present ideas / solutions back to the wider teams / businesses and gain buy-in to implement changes that will add value to the business;
- Lead and communicate new system features and releases, evaluating the impact to our business processes as well as configuration;
- Provide post-production support, including researching and resolving Workday issues or process issues; performing scheduled activities and recommend solutions or alternate methods;
- Establish requirements and create, schedule and maintain reports for the People teams and other internal stakeholders (as required);
- Train employees and management on new process functionality;
- Train People team members on Workday administration features;
- Work with the People teams across Houseful and RVU on data uploads (i.e. using EIBs);
- Create and maintain Workday security, leading on regular audits;
- Work with the People teams to maintain data integrity by creating / running audits and analysing data outputs;

- 2+ years’ Workday HRIS experience including:
- Workday configuration experience – HCM required; Additional modules desirable, payroll and talent modules especially;
- Workday report writing, calculated fields, and dashboard creation; and,
- Domain security experience
- Ability to lead on changes and effectively communicate with technical teams as well as functional stakeholders;
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality when exposed to and handling employee data;
- Excellent problem solving and time management skills with the ability to pivot as needed;
- Excellent written and verbal skills;
- Strong attention to detail;
- Workday certification preferred.
