Key Responsibilities:

We are seeking an Impact Communications Manager. This is a dynamic and highly active role for someone passionate about Responsible Business and eager to engage in client-facing business development. It is essential that the candidate understands our commitment to responsible business, as this is a key focus for our clients. This position allows us to communicate an authentic, impact-driven narrative about our collective efforts in this area.

In this role, you will be the primary contact for client inquiries and requests for information regarding our Pro Bono work, Responsible Business & Sustainability initiatives, and Diversity & Inclusion efforts (collectively referred to as ‘Leading for Impact’ in this specification). You will manage communications content and oversee the production of the Responsible Business Report.

Act as a key contributor to our Leading for Impact initiative by developing a deep understanding of our efforts in this field and promoting this work during client engagements.
Serve as the initial point of contact for client inquiries related to Pro Bono, Responsible Business, and D&I. Engage with clients directly and indirectly, offering leadership and guidance to ensure our impact in this area is well-recognized.
Respond effectively and professionally to all client requests for information related to Pro Bono, Responsible Business, D&I, as well as other ESG topics, including HR and Responsible Procurement.
Coordinate with various teams across Business to collect relevant data and metrics for third-party assessment platforms regularly used by our clients.
Manage and update responses for common inquiries within the pitching hub.
Track all client requests and engagements, providing an annual summary of activities.
Lead the development, content creation, and project management of the annual Responsible Business Report, collaborating with internal stakeholders and external copywriters/consultants. Ensure the content is fully utilized throughout the year by working with communications and content teams.
Collaborate closely with the Responsible Business & Sustainability, Pro Bono, and D&I teams to align communications with strategic developments. Use your knowledge to support the broader group strategy.
Partner with Client Relationship Managers to strategically manage and leverage Pro Bono, Responsible Business, and D&I partnerships with clients.
Review client engagement letters, codes of conduct, and contractual terms to ensure alignment with our internal impact strategies and goals.
Prepare and submit entries for directories and awards related to Pro Bono, Responsible Business, and D&I.
Develop and execute a scalable communications plan focused on culture and employee engagement across different teams and geographies.
Build strong internal relationships with key stakeholders throughout Business (including internal and external communications teams) to ensure seamless information sharing and collaboration.
Create marketing content and work alongside the marketing team to update the Pro Bono, Responsible Business, and D&I web pages.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:

The ideal candidate will have around 5+ years of experience in a communications-focused role.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with strong attention to detail.
Demonstrated expertise in managing relationships and influencing stakeholders, particularly when it comes to managing expectations around deadlines and deliverables.
Proven ability to juggle multiple projects and collaborate with various internal and external departments while meeting tight deadlines. Strong organizational and time-management skills are essential in this fast-paced role.
Experience engaging with clients, balancing their needs while managing competing priorities.
Significant experience in creative, authentic storytelling at local, regional, and global levels.
Strong strategic thinking, management, and evaluation skills, with the ability to convey data meaningfully and offer insights and solutions.
Commitment to and deep understanding of the Responsible Business agenda, with experience working in a corporate environment where communications and client engagement play a crucial role.
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and take initiative with minimal supervision.
Resilience under pressure, with a collaborative and pragmatic approach to problem-solving.
