PMO Lead – Strategy & Transformation
📍 Copenhagen (flexible location with travel)
We’re looking for a PMO Lead to help shape how a growing European consulting and professional services group turns strategy into execution.
The company has scaled significantly over recent years – both organically and through multiple acquisitions – and is now at a point where execution excellence, integration, and value realization are critical. This role sits at the heart of that journey.
Reporting directly to the Head of Strategy & Transformation, you’ll establish and lead a PMO that drives the company’s most important cross-functional, group-wide initiatives, including digital platforms, internal systems, and AI-related projects.
This is not a reporting or coordination role. It’s about making things happen.
Your mission
To build and lead a PMO that ensures disciplined execution, strong governance, and on-time realization of value across the company’s most critical initiatives.
What you’ll be responsible for

Owning and managing a portfolio of key internal strategic initiatives from inception to delivery

Establishing and enforcing PMO governance, standards, and reporting across the group

Ensuring a clear link between initiatives, company strategy, and measurable benefits

Improving time-to-market and benefit realization, e.g. for internal system and platform rollouts

Creating transparency around budgets, costs, risks, and benefits for major initiatives

Acting as a trusted partner to senior stakeholders, including C-level leadership

Supporting integration and alignment across acquired companies through structured execution
What we’re looking for

A strong track record in program or project management in fast-paced, complex environments

Hands-on experience establishing, running, or playing a key role in a PMO

Exposure to IT and/or AI-driven initiatives

Confidence working with senior stakeholders and challenging when needed

A pragmatic, execution-focused mindset – you get things done

Comfort building a function step by step, without a large team from day one
