Interim Payroll & Benefits Business Analyst (US & India)

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Interim Payroll and Benefits Business Analyst to join our team for a temporary position. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth transition of our payroll and benefits systems, with a focus on data mapping, scenario testing, and end-to-end business processes for the go-live phase. The successful candidate should possess experience in data migration for both India and the United States, along with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Data Mapping: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, analyse, and map data requirements for payroll and benefits systems. Ensure data accuracy and integrity during the migration process.

  2. Scenario Testing: Develop and execute comprehensive test scenarios to validate the functionality and reliability of the payroll and benefits systems, identifying and resolving any issues or discrepancies.

  3. End-to-End Business Processes: Work closely with stakeholders to document and streamline end-to-end business processes related to payroll and benefits, ensuring that they align with industry best practices.

  4. Data Migration: Utilize your expertise in data migration to oversee the smooth transfer of payroll and benefits data, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in India and the United States.

  5. International Expertise: Apply your knowledge of India and US payroll and benefits regulations to ensure compliance, accuracy, and efficiency throughout the transition process.

  6. Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with key stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and facilitate open communication to ensure successful project delivery.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.

  • Proven experience in data mapping, scenario testing, and business process analysis, preferably within the payroll and benefits domain.

  • Strong knowledge of India and US payroll and benefits regulations, with a focus on data migration.

  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address complex issues.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage with a diverse range of stakeholders.

  • Project management skills to manage tasks and deadlines effectively.

  • Attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy and integrity.

  • Adaptability to changing project requirements and priorities.
