HR Data Analyst – Perm

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Data Analysis: Utilise your analytical skills to extract, transform, and analyse HR data, providing valuable insights and trends.

  2. Reporting: Develop and maintain visually appealing and insightful reports, dashboards, and presentations to support data-driven decision-making within the HR department and the organisation as a whole.

  3. Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate closely with HR leaders and other teams to understand their data requirements, address their needs, and promote self-service solutions.

  4. Ad Hoc Reporting: Fulfill ad-hoc regional and global reporting requests, such as data for external surveys, audits, client pitches, and diversity and inclusion (D&I) initiatives.

  5. Data Governance: Ensure consistent implementation of data governance standards, granting secure access to analytics solutions while complying with data protection regulations, such as GDPR.

  6. Workday Integration: Eventually, manage and maintain the suite of dashboards available through Workday, making continuous improvements to Workday reporting functionality.

  7. Problem Solving: Provide guidance on reporting and analytics to the HR team, acting as an escalation point for complex reporting queries that cannot be produced through the HR system.

  8. Relationship Building: Establish and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders across the HR function and the wider Business Services team.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in Data and Analytics, preferably with some exposure to Professional Services.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerBI.
  • Knowledge of SQL or other coding languages.
  • Experience with report writing and Workday reporting is desirable.
  • Strong organisational skills, numerical aptitude, and commercial acumen.
  • Ability to work independently and solve problems analytically.
  • Familiarity with HR Systems processes and functionality.
  • Sound understanding of Management Information (MI) requirements and best practices for information presentation.
  • Quick learner with the ability to translate concepts into actionable insights.
  • Strong focus on internal client service and client relationship building.
