Little Havens Children’s Hospice officially opened 15 years ago. We look after children from Essex and parts of London. Since then we have cared for over 1,000 children aged 0-19 with life-limiting illnesses, providing end of life care and week-long respite breaks for up to 8 weeks of the year. Parents, carers and siblings benefit immeasurably from the homely environment at Little Havens, where they can take a break from the strain of constant care and can concentrate on being a family.
We must raise £2.6 million to be there for everyone who needs us. We don’t charge a penny for our care. We’re a registered charity, not part of the NHS and receive limited government funding.
Our corporate supporters can visit our hospices and see first-hand the vital work undertaken. We also have a wide range of volunteering opportunities. These include carrying out projects to help maintain the hospice grounds, helping out at our events and taking part in the Store Wars apprentice style challenge.
We have an exciting calendar of events in London and Essex, a variety of different treks and challenges and over 80 London Marathon places.
